The What if? Produces the Miracle!

Today the Lord began explaining the concept of worldly savings to me.  I have a savings account like many others do, but why do we save money?  You see, I save money in case something happens ie. the heater goes down or we need to fix up the house etc. The Lord very gently and lovingly asked me a question.. saying "son do you rely on me when something unexpected occurs or do you rely on the world?". I said "Lord I try to rely on you for all things". He said "son you have a savings account because you do not rely on me, you have created a worldly backup to a worldly problem. My child when you face hardships in this world you must rely on a spiritual relief, not a worldly deceit."  This blew my mind and I suddenly understood what He was saying that we need to seek Him when things go wrong in our lives and depend on Him for all things all the time.  The enemy wants us to think we need to store up treasures on earth just in case something happens however, when we take that mindset it allows the enemy to bring those exacting situations into our life and because we will turn to his solution he can make your life even worse, not to mention we are given into his hand as he wishes.  Man! Get behind us satan!

The Lord began showing me passages in the Bible;

Proverbs 30:9 Give me neither poverty nor riches - 

_h Feed me with the food allotted to me; ⁹ _i Lest I be full and deny You, And say, "Who is the LORD?" Or lest I be poor and steal, And profane the name of my God.

I broke down because at this moment I realized the very reason I could save money was that he saw me worthy enough to bless me in abundance and I, being a fool was placing that blessing into savings instead of using it for the good of the Kingdom. Thank you Jesus that you find us pleasant in your sight to bless us beyond our needs!

You see, we all should be perfectly content with just getting enough to get by; food, shelter and clothing yet He blesses us beyond measure. We choose to use this blessing of savings as a curse because of our unrighteous mindsets regarding what if situations. By having extra money set aside we are denying heaven to operate in our lives, the very storehouse which is supposed to save us condemns us. 

Luke 12:16-21 ¹⁶ Then He spoke a parable to them, saying: "The ground of a certain rich man yielded plentifully. ¹⁷ "And he thought within himself, saying, 'What shall I do, since I have no room to store my crops?' ¹⁸ "So he said, 'I will do this: I will pull down my barns and build greater, and there I will store all my crops and my goods. ¹⁹ 'And I will say to my soul, _p "Soul, you have many goods laid up for many years; take your ease; _q eat, drink, and be merry." ' ²⁰ "But God said to him, 'Fool! This night _r your soul will be required of you; _s then whose will those things be which you have provided?' ²¹ "So is he who lays up treasure for himself, _t and is not rich toward God."

Nothing we have today will  come with us to heaven, only those deeds which we have done for the good of the kingdom will be with us.  We cannot continue to prevent the Lord from operating in our life! 

He said "son you understand now that your what if is actually the opportunity for your heavenly miracle?"   "it is only when you move outside of the comfortable and into the unknown that you rely on faith and through your faith bring forth the manifestation of the impossible."
